Acupuncture
We offer a synthesis of the most effective, fastest acting and safest techniques to serve the individual needs of each patient. The four main Acupuncture techniques used in this clinic are distal; meaning they are away from the site of pain or symptom. These methods are highly efficient, reliable, and they avoid risk of aggravating existing inflammation. They are;
- The Balance Method, also known as Master Tung’s, or I Ching Acupuncture, is a 2,500 year old technique, which often produces pain relief in seconds. It’s responsible for creating the Acupuncture profession in California.
- Auricular therapy, includes Needle-Free Ear Seed Therapy. Ear Seed therapy, is a powerful adjunct to Acupuncture treatment. It accelerates overall treatment response in a wide variety of health conditions.
- Zhu’s Scalp Acupuncture is a powerful system used to effectively treat many orthopedic and pain conditions, as well as recovery from stroke.
- Eight Extra and Divergent meridian therapies are amongst the deepest acting and most comfortable, acupuncture treatments. They are often considered in chronic conditions and employ a highly sophisticated system of diagnostics which works for complex and sensitive patients.

Other Acupuncture Modalities:

Craniosacral Therapy
Craniosacral therapy can be combined with Acupuncture, for a powerful synergistic healing effect. It provides an exceptionally gentle, yet profound adjustment of the cranium and entire nervous system. Stressful mental emotional states and physical trauma create stresses in the physical body, which in turn torque the membranes that house the brain, resulting in restricted cranial bone motion. Physical trauma to the cranium, such as birth injury, including forceps and cesarean delivery, injuries to the head and face, dental extractions, and orthodontic appliances, can all directly restrict the cranial bones. Once a cranial restriction has been set up, it tends to remain that way until released. Freeing up cranial restrictions helps to free up unproductive patterns of mind and emotion, creating a state of deep relaxation and peace. The typical Craniosacral session is an hour for adults.
